Applications to Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) are submitted through the Netherlands' centralised higher education application portal, Studielink. Prospective students must first create an account on Studielink and select TU/e along with their desired bachelor's programme. Following this initial step, applicants will receive further instructions to upload the required documents via the university’s internal application system, Osiris.

For those interested in applying to Eindhoven University of Technology, it is important to note that the institution does not specify standard entry requirements for the HKDSE. Instead, applicants are expected to hold qualifications equivalent to the Dutch VWO (pre-university education diploma). The university will assess each applicant’s academic background and language proficiency to determine eligibility for admission. Students who hold one of the recognised qualifications listed below—provided specific subject requirements are met—may be eligible to apply for undergraduate degree programmes.

As most programmes at TU/e are taught in English, applicants must demonstrate strong English language skills by submitting one of the following recognised test results:

Applicants aiming for medical-related programmes must submit the Dutch national NT2-II exam or pass the STRT or ED Dutch language certification, as proof of Dutch proficiency.[11]

Tuition fees at TU/e vary depending on your nationality and programme type. Students from the EU/EEA, Switzerland, or Suriname pay the statutory tuition fee, while international (non-EU/EEA) students pay an institutional fee based on their degree level. In addition to tuition, prospective students should also budget for accommodation, meals, transport, and other living expenses.

Students from non-EEA countries are required to pay a deposit for the 2025–2026 academic year, which includes the first year’s tuition fee. This deposit also covers the cost of visa or residence permit application (€243).
